Privacy Policy
Effective date: 21 July 2026 · Last updated: 21 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AI Form Filler ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the AI Form Filler browser extension and this website (together, the "Service"), collects, uses, and protects information. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Contents
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by AI Form Filler, based in Egypt. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@ai-form-filler.com.
2. Information we process
We aim to process as little personal data as possible. Depending on how you use the Service, this may include:
- Profiles and settings you create — the data templates, smart variables, categories and preferences you save. These stay on your device (see section 4).
- No registration details — the extension is free and has no login, so we do not ask for or hold your name, email address or payment details.
- Form field metadata — only if the AI Fill feature is released and you choose to use it (see section 3). It is not enabled in the current release, so this is not happening today.
- Basic technical/diagnostic data — such as extension version and error information needed to keep the Service working. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this website or in the extension.
3. AI Fill (not enabled yet)
AI Fill is not available in the current release, so nothing described in this section is happening today. It is documented here so you know exactly what would change if we release it. When enabled, AI Fill generates realistic test data for the form you are working on. To do this, the extension sends the structure and labels of the form fields (for example, that a field is labelled "Email", "Postcode", or "Date of birth", and its type) to our secure proxy server, which forwards the request to a third-party AI provider that generates the data. The generated values are returned to your browser and placed into the form.
- We route AI requests through our own secure server so that you never need to provide or manage an AI provider API key.
- We use field metadata only to generate the requested test data. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- You control when AI Fill runs — it only sends data when you trigger it.
- Please avoid using AI Fill on forms that already contain real, sensitive personal data you do not want transmitted; the feature is designed for generating test data.
Should the feature be released, our AI provider would process requests as our sub-processor under their own terms. AI-powered features are not enabled in the current release, so no data is sent to any AI provider. If they are enabled in a future version, the provider will be named here before that version ships.
4. Where your profiles are stored
The profiles and settings you create are stored locally in your browser using the browser's extension storage. They do not leave your device. You can move them yourself using export and import, and you can delete them from within the extension at any time.
Google Drive sync is not available in the current release. If it is released, it will be optional, and your profiles would be saved to your own Google Drive so they are available across your devices — held under Google's terms and privacy policy, with no copy kept on a shared server, and switchable off at any time.
5. How we use information
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating test data locally in your browser.
- To provide support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Our legal bases (where applicable, e.g. under GDPR) include performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Sharing & sub-processors
We do not sell your personal data. Today the extension works entirely inside your browser, so there is very little to share. The providers that help us run the Service are:
- Cloudflare Pages — to serve this website.
- Our AI provider — only if AI Fill is released and you use it, to generate test data from form field metadata.
- Google — only if Google Drive sync is released and you enable it, and only within your own Google Drive.
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. We keep support emails for as long as needed to answer you and for a reasonable period afterwards, and no more than 24 months. We do not operate user accounts, so there are no account records to retain. Your profiles live in your browser and are kept until you delete them.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, contact us at support@ai-form-filler.com. You can also delete your profiles from within the extension at any time.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for anything the extension does send. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is intended for professional and general adult use and is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
